Natural Love

Well, one of my goals was to become Natural. It has been over 6 months, since I have gotten a relaxer. While going through the process of growing out my perm, it was very tempting to get another one as well as some of my friends telling me it wouldn't look right, I need a perm, I should get a perm. But instead, I went with my gut, and here is the video to me cutting off ALL my perm hair. I feel so relieved, natural, free, I found apart of me. :)

ENJOY!

Yesterday was a Marvelousss Day Outside :) and of course its the end of spring break, i wouldnt call it spring break for me, considering I was babysitting the ENTIREEE time..making no $$$. But because of the lovely weather I decided to take my brother and sister on a mini picnic in the Columbia Heights Area, by Pollo Granjero, Ritas, and STICKY FINGERS. We brought our lunches, and bought a treat from sticky fingers. yummmm two delicious vegan cupcakes! :)

We had a delightful time, and then I went shopping in Georgetown...and that is why it was a marveloussss day!

I've been slacking once again...Lately Ive been on tumblr, only because its fun to look at everyone elses fashion photos that they find. And of course because I have like 42 followers :).

But I have come back to blogger to let you DC and other state folks to know that there is this cool place called the Fridge. The Fridge hosts art shows, events, and art classes, which is soooo awesome!...Here are some pics from a day at the Fridge with my two siblings, and a few others who were taking a photography class! :D :D

WOW WORDS OF WISDOM: THE TRUTH

THIS IS WHERE WE HAVE WOUND UP PEOPLE.
GREAT DESCRIPTION OF THIS WORLD/AMERICA.

The paradox of our time in history is that we have taller buildings, but shorter tempers; wider freeways, but narrower viewpoints; we spend more, but have less; we buy more, but enjoy it less.

We have bigger houses and smaller families; more conveniences, but less time; we have more degrees, but less sense; more knowledge, but less judgment; more experts, but more problems; more medicine, but less wellness.

We drink too much, smoke too much, spend too recklessly, laugh too little, drive too fast, get angry too quickly, stay up too late, get up too tired, read too seldom, watch TV too much, and pray too seldom.

We have multiplied our possessions, but reduced our values. We talk too much, love too seldom, and hate too often. We've learned how to make a living, but not a life; we've added years to life, not life to years.

We've been all the way to the moon and back, but have trouble crossing the street to meet the new neighbor. We've conquered outer space, but not inner space; we've done larger things, but not better things.

We've cleaned up the air, but polluted the soul; we've split the atom, but not our prejudice.

We write more, but learn less; we plan more, but accomplish less. We've learned to rush, but not to wait; we have higher incomes, but lower morals; we have more food, but less appeasement; we build more computers to hold more information to produce more copies than ever, but have less communication; we've become long on quantity, but short on quality.

These are the times of fast foods and slow digestion; tall men, and short character; steep profits, and shallow relationships. These are the times of world peace, but domestic warfare; more leisure, but less fun; more kinds of food, but less nutrition.

These are days of two incomes, but more divorce; of fancier houses, but broken homes. These are days of quick trips, disposable diapers, throw away morality, one-night stands, overweight bodies, and pills that do everything from cheer to quiet to kill.

It is a time when there is much in the show window and nothing in the stockroom; a time when technology has brought this letter to you, and a time when you can choose either to make a difference, or to just hit delete...

Kid Cudi Is So Cute

I think this video of Kid Cudi was funny. Ive always wondered about certain artists about who and how they were before all this FAME...ya digg? Kid Cudi is one person I would love to know more about because he seems like a cool person...but you know how some celebs just fake for the cam and act like real assholes because they are famous. But i think Kid Cudi is so cool, and i really love his songs for some reason...Does he write his own lyrics?
